Improving the village one stove at a time

Hey everyone! Just like yesterday, today we were back out in the village installing stoves. I had originally thought that today I would be staying back and helping with the LED lights but plans changed and I ended up going back out today. I was so glad I was able to do that. The part of the village we helped today was so glad and thankful for us being there. After we installed the second one most of the village had come down to see and check out the new stove. They made a list of 10-15 other families and houses that needed/wanted stove. Unfortunately all the stoves we have are already going to other houses and they will not be able to get one yet. It is clear there is a great need for them and they understand how much better they are for both the cooking aspect of the stove and for the health and well being of themselves. Our group was split up in to two groups today. Each group did 3 stoves and we have now installed 10 stoves in the past two days! Tomorrow we will be going back to help distribute and install water stations for some of the homes in the village.
