Belize Day Three:

Just waking up to another ordinary day in Belize. But, we did not see a tarantula this time but I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing. It may have a really good hiding spot or hopefully there aren't any here. It is common for them to go indoors when it rains and it did a lot the other day.
This morning we had an American classic food, hotdogs. They had mustard and onions on them. It also came with some fruit and some kind of chocolate bar that was really good. After breakfast, we went to a local church in town. The people there were very welcoming and nice. The singing was really good and did not expect what I experienced in church today, it felt just like home. The sermon was a little hard to understand because of all of the Spanish but I got understood most of it and the  main point. The pastor of the church was very friendly and super helpful. Most of the songs sang today were in English so it was easy to follow. I wish I would have brushed up on my Spanish before coming here.
After church, we went back to the camp grounds and had lunch. We had chicken in some kind do sauce, fruit and rice with some beans in them. We then played he card game UNO and just relaxed until we left for Guatemala where we would stay there for a few days. We arrive at the border which was two miles away from the camp grounds. We wait in this long line to get our passports confirmed and payed for to go through. Then we make our way to the other line to get it stamped and we had some very rude people in line with us. Apparently, we were cutting in line without knowing it. There were not any signs or anything that said where to go after we got our passports back so we just assumed to go in line with everyone else. The lady at the counter was telling a guy in our group that he could not go through until he had waited in line but they argued for a couple of minutes about it and decided to just let him go through.
After this, we then had to wait in another line to get across the border which took about an hour or so. We then waited for our transportation after crossing. There was a buss and a truck for our luggage. That trip was over an hour long and it was a beautiful car ride. The many different shapes and sizes of the hills and mountains here are just unbelievable.
When we arrived, we unpacked our luggage at the hotel and went to go find what there was to eat here. We ended up finding a pizza restaurant and the pizza was delicious. We had many conversations going now at the same time so it was hard keeping track of all of them. When dinner was finished, me and a couple of guys went back to the hotel because the others were going to look around. We went back because all of this traveling is making us exhausted. Tomorrow is going to be an interesting day if I do not get a good nights sleep tonight.
