Belize Trip Day 1:

Well today was an eventful day! First, we had to switch flights due to the plane that was picking us up was delayed and had to wait for three hours for the next flight to Belize. Then the crew was late because they had to rest a minimum of eight hours and got held up from the snow storm we were having in Columbus. Just when we thought we were leaving while sitting in the plane, we had to wait an hour to get all of the snow and ice off of our plane and there was only one truck that had to help out a handful of planes waiting patiently like we were. After we got cleaned off, the captain just found out that we needed water so he had to take the plane back to the gate to get water onto the plane. That took about half an hour. When the plane was filled up with water, we were going down the runway. As we were about to take off finally, the captain notices that the plane needed gas because we were waiting so long to get our plane cleaned off by the truck. We were in the plane for a total of more than three hours. It took two and one-half hours to get to Miami from Columbus. While we were taking off to go to Miami, the captain decides to tell the people going to Belize (us) that the next flight was at 1pm and our plane left at 11:30. So there was no way we were going to get on that flight. After we got to Miami, we wait in the airport for a few hours while we were trying to figure out when the next flight to Belize was. We found out that the next flight does not come until 10am the next day. So we decide to get food quickly and get to a hotel so that we can relax after a  + 12 hour day. So now here we are wondering if we will finally make it to Belize tomorrow without any trouble. Hopefully we can visit the zoo and get to see everything there!
